Forgiving

Short but imaginative love story of loss, anger and grief. Very enjoyable and relaxing about family and community.

Overly sentimental

Overly sentimental, too many recipes. Not up to Hoffman’s standard. Repetitive and schmaltzy. Too simplistic for Hoffman.

A quick and delightful story about love and family! A wonderful feel good book on a Sunday afternoon!

Short and Sweet

Always love her writing. Innocent sisterly love and small town wholesome romance. Set in Maine. Small business family owned bakery dreams.

Predictable love story. A surprise twist with the wedding. Short, easy listening family theme.

Fantastic

This was a great and short listen. I wish it went a little bit longer though. But overall it was such a joy to get into the lives of these characters again. The story is just so wonderful. I was getting a little but nervous though for a hot minute. But everything worked out well. I hope the next book is about Violet though, she added a lot to the first book. But I get it, this one was more about the sisters and the never ending wedding dates. Ha ha if you read or listened to this then you know what I mean. I laughed a lot during this listen and I also was like I said getting nervous a bit.
Looking forward to the next adventure with these group of characters.
Also forgot to mention I loved how Emily Dickinson was mentioned in this book.

cute story

there are lots of inconsistencies from book 1 - makes it difficult to follow the story when you're brain is thinking, that's not right... fairly sappy and very much in the style of a Harlequin Romance paperback.

Cliche and saccharine. Not interesting and not much depth. Glad it was short Too bad The original story was okay.
