A nice collection, that issue in the head like the butt of a pistol
This is an amazing collection of short stories based on the old west. No, I don’t want to go into a lot of details on the stuff I generally preferred to say whether I liked the book or not, and then talk about the narration, but I will single out the one story about how long earth I forget the exact title. But basically, I have been a fan of the weird west, since I was a kid.
I grew up watching wild wild West, and then fell in love with Joe or Lansdale and his take on Jonah hex and other weird West stuff. So that particular story was almost made for me to listen to, and I absolutely loved it.
The narration is top quality and you can enjoy it at your leisure, and feel like you are back in the day with tumbleweeds blowing across your feet and bullets flying past your ears. It’s well acted and well voiced enjoyed it.
