Fast paced thriller set against a backdrop of global politics and religion.

This isn’t the sort of book I would usually read, but as it was a book club selection, I sat down to read. The protagonist becomes unexpectedly embroiled in a hunt for his grandfather’s killer, keeping his grandmother safe and staying alive. The subject matter was a little stressful for my taste. The authors did a good job of creating a very real sense of jeopardy and tension, but if you love a face paced thrilled with themes of global politics, history, religion and secrets that get people murdered, then this one is absolutely for you!

Suspense and Intrigue!!

Wow-this book did not disappoint! Good vs Evil. Organized religion, be it Christian, Jewish, Muslim, vs the Freemason ideology of order ranked brotherhood/each man for himself in and of this world only. Money, greed, power, control. Eerily similar to our current country/world situation of so much division and fighting. Some hard truths to consider. Full of intrigue and suspense!!

It is a breathtaking adventure on the most stunning of coasts. The history of The Catholic Church is beautifully described with intrigue and mystery.
