The Alpha’s Rejected Omega (Alaska Alpha Wolves Book 2) ~~ I read The Alpha’s Rejected Omega on Kindle and listened on Audible, and this one really leaned into the secret baby and rejected-mate drama, which is always one of my favorite tropes in shifter romances.
This story follows Yvonne, an Omega who has always struggled to fit into pack life. When she discovers that her fated mate is Dawson, a powerful Alpha, she hopes her life might finally change for the better. Unfortunately, things don’t go the way she hoped. Dawson rejects her — but not before their connection leaves her carrying a secret that will change both of their lives forever.
I really felt for Yvonne throughout the story. She spends so much time feeling unwanted and abandoned, yet she still finds the strength to protect herself and her child. Her character has a quiet strength that grows stronger as the story unfolds.
Dawson is definitely one of those frustrating Alpha characters at first. His rejection hurts Yvonne deeply, and there are moments where I wanted to shake him for the decisions he made. But as the truth begins to unfold and the reality of their bond catches up with him, he starts realizing just how badly he misjudged the situation.
The Kindle version kept the pacing fast and emotional, especially during the moments where Yvonne has to face the consequences of Dawson’s rejection. The Audible narration really helped bring the emotional scenes to life, especially when the truth about the baby finally comes to light.
The story has a lot of emotional tension, second-chance romance elements, and the kind of dramatic twists that make shifter romance so addictive.
I would definitely recommend this book and series and can’t wait to start on the next book. If you want to know what happens next, you’ll just have to read this series yourself ~ you won’t regret it.

INteresting Story

This is an interesting story and part of a series with an overall story but I didn't really feel lost with this story even though I have not read/listened to the others. I found this story to be intriguing and a quick listen. It is a virtual voice but definitely one of the better one's I have heard. It is a little hard when the POV changes to keep track of who is speaking.
