Good listen

it was a good book. I think reading it would have allowed me to skip some of the relative worrying. I wish it had more biblical references or deeper dives. I think there are some mistakes like Marry being 78 when she was assumed. However I learned allot. It was a start to understanding Purgatory.

A very important work

This book has helped my spiritual life on many different levels. This book goes into the study of purgatory and is very encompassing in the areas of mortification and the importance of desiring a life without sin.

This is just the kind of book that I have been looking for. Father is so completely thorough with the souls in the afterlife….what they are doing, how we can help them, etc……our souls live on.!! Hallelujah!!

A powerful book that all faithful should read

I really did enjoy listening but I found myself stopping more often than normal. the beginning was enough to give me great anxiety but that's probably a good thing. if you want a glimps of what purgatory is and how the soul moves on after death, this book is wonderfully informative.

the narration is the weakest link in my opinion. It's important to have strong emphasis on important topics, but when the whole book has that same tone i found it to be rather bland.

Contest of Love

Quite a good discussion of purgatory as the contest of Love between God and a person's soul.

Even venial sins stain our soul

The Fr. Is very intent on making sure we know to avoid sin at all costs. He uses many metaphors
that are hard to understand.

The narrator sounds harsh and hardly any inflection.
