Kept my interest

This is the first book I've listened to by Teresa Burrell and it kept my interest enough that I found reasons to listen to it instead of being something I do when in the kitchen. The main story line revolves around the main character Sabre being found wandering with no recollection of how she got there or what happened. There are a few subplots going on also but they all tie in together by the end of the book. This author now tested high on my scale of who to listen to because she writes a good story and does so without any cursing or sex. The story is about the people and the way they care for each other and others. I highly recommend this book.

Book 13

I have read most of the Advocate Series and book 13 is terrific. Once you start the book you will not want to put it down until you have finished. That said, even if this is your first book in this series, you will enjoy it and do fine. Teresa Burrell is an excellent writer and she spins a web that keeps you wanting more. This audiobook was narrated by John Bell and who is incredible at keeping you interested. I love his different voices.

As the 13th book in the series, this one does not disappoint! Highly recommended

This book takes you on a journey with Sabre as she tries to piece together her memory of a traumatic event. I thoroughly enjoyed the ride as we try to try and figure out with her what happened. This book really kept me guessing and I enjoyed trying to guess on my own what transpired. I highly recommend reading all the books in the series, but no need to read them all if you want to just read this one.

Another exciting book in this series

I'm a huge fan of this series and this book doesn't disappoint. Right from the beginning the action draws you in and the twists keep you interested. The narrator is also excellent...adding to the experience rather than distracting from it. It was also nice to see the overall story has also evolved including between the main character and her love interest. Highly recommend.

Such a Great Series

I have enjoyed every single book in this series. The characters seem so realistic, and I like the interaction between all of the main characters. The narrator does a good job, and I am anxiously awaiting for book 14.

Another captivating story in The Advocate series

Having read several of The Advocate Series, I was excited to read the 13th in the series. (I really need to go back and read the ones I've missed!) The author, Teresa Burrell, knows how to keep a reader's interest. With a missing child, another child who may be a victim of Munchausen syndrome, Child Advocate, Sabre, has her hands full and now has amnesia regarding a murder in which she may be a suspect. The pages practically turned themselves. The main characters are relatable and likable and the bad guys are definitely despicable. The story moved quickly and the author brings satisfactory closure to the several situations in the book. For readers who enjoy female sleuth mysteries, the Advocate series is a must-read. I listened to a complimentary copy of the audiobook and was not required to write a review. The opinions are my own. The narrator, John Bell, does an excellent job of bringing the characters to life in this book.
