The Adventures of Pinocchio is the story of a magical puppet. His creator Geppetto is given a gift of some magical talking wood. Geppetto decides to carve the special piece of wood into a puppet that he names Pinocchio.
Geppetto is delighted with his new creation, but all is not well. As soon as Pinocchio learns to walk, he runs away from home and right into danger.
Carlo Collodi takes the listener on a wild adventure as Pinocchio searches for true happiness while inadvertently putting his creator Geppetto in great danger, as well.
