Dynamic and hysterically fun!

I'm having a difficult time figuring out which version of Barry & Joe I love more -- the actual book or the audio book. It's so great when author's get to do their own stuff. Adam Reid's performance is dynamic and hysterically fun. And it's read with so much energy and heart that it flies by. Entertaining, smart and irreverent. Highly recommend!!

Great Fun

If you miss Obama and Biden like me, you’ll love this book. I bought the graphic novel too since I love the art. At first I thought it might be hard to follow as an audiobook but the author brings the pages to life with a great read. At times it actually made me laugh out loud (something to do with a muffin if I remember correctly). If you’re angry at the state of American politics, this will help you lighten up and have a good laugh. I found it to be great fun. Introspective and nostalgic as well as heartfelt and hilarious.

This is a Crazy, Fun Ride

This is less of a novel and more of a series of vignettes with a narrative through stream. At times tedious, for the most part this is a fun and funny romp that lampoons time travel, classic science fiction, Zombies, the Apocalypse, and modern politics. Sound impossible? it isn't. This book is consistently funny and there are moments where you will laugh HARD. I am dinging the evaluation of the story itself because one section goes on WAY too long. (No spoilers. You'll know). Push on through that, because the book as a whole is well worth the journey. Prepare to laugh.
