"Empowerment" can be a mind-numbing topic, but in The 3 Keys to Empowerment, Ken Blanchard and his coauthors use concrete examples, a Q&A format, case histories, and entertaining comments to keep the discussion lively. The authors show that empowerment is not about giving people power, it's about releasing the power they already have.

Reseñas de la Crítica

"Each chapter, arranged in a question-and-answer format, gives advice and details on realizing all the steps and processes. Scattered among the tips are relevant case histories, skills, and reinforcement from other consultants. One example is a mentions the art of effective praising, including the expression of sincere appreciation. And the authors stress that sharing information, at the very beginning, doesn't mean explaining a future vision and mission. Smart psychology at work." (Booklist)

Wayyyyyyyy to much detail. This literally read like assembly instructions or a recipe book with 5,000 ingredients. It does not show, what this means to me, how do I change to become someone who knows how to empower others. It was literally a HR manual for empowering teams. I need practical information I can use personally to become someone who empowers others. The book was not relevant to me and my struggles with empowering others. This of course is a big disappointment as Ken doesn't normally do this kind of nonsense!
