This newer edition of the King James Bible published in 1769 is usually preferred by most that read it over the older 1611 version. This 1769 edition is highly sought after due to being more reader/listener friendly than the 1611 since many typos were fixed.... Excellent listen, super character development, but
Audible you really need to have a listen and fix the editing issues. There are places where there are words spoken then a blank spot and then words spoken again with the narrator carrying on. Also, volume goes up and down.
Aside from that, and don’t let that stop you, really an excellent listen. Character development is so brilliant! And that moment when you realize how the whole story and it’s different threads and characters come together...priceless.
John Gregg does a bang up job switching from his own British accent to an Australian accent to the accent of the aboriginals.
