Okay story but performance was better

This author was new to me. I like the story but didn’t like when the heroine bringing sex with another female. I wish this author didn’t do that to romance story. After I heard this, it ruined for me. I loved the performance. They were the people kept me listening. Lee is my favorite reader. That’s was the reason I chose this story. All in all, it was okay story and good for one time listen.

Pretty good

I enjoyed this story. I love Mickey Miller. I feel like he normally writes college age characters so they seemed a bit immature In this book considering the age they should be. I think there were some proofing errors but nothing horrible. The storyline was cool. They put sex on hold for 10 dates but that doesn’t mean they didn’t do other stuff. Damian protected Krista from her ex fiancé. The narration was good.

What age was the writer?

Honestly, I think two fourteen year olds wrote this. Krista and her friend Amelia have junior high-ish reactions to the men in their lives. I found myself rushing thru chunks of the book as well as speeding thru the audio. There were sections of the story that both Krista, Damien, Amelia and Axel acted very immature.
And the whole story surrounding Krista’s ex was bizarre at best.
Narration-wise, I’ve heard Lee Samuels and like how he reads.
Krista was played by Carmen Vine, the first time I’ve heard her. She has the perfect voice for playing a high pitched immature teen, which was perfect for how the character acted and responded to situations and people.

This was a hot storyline after a one night stand they decide to date each other without having sex for 10 dates what happens you will have to read. The narration was good

Well... I liked the characters, but the story was a little weird. The part near the end was ridiculous. I really liked that the characters didn't push eachother away, even though some things didn't make sense to me. Overall, I liked this book. It was fun and sexy. And the narrators were great.

Wasn’t quite sure until the end

I thought about pausing this book a few times or finding a different one but I stuck with it. I liked the narrators much better on this book than the Benefits series.

The sex scenes were ok but far from scorching. I expected a little more but I enjoyed it overall.

I really liked Damien’s character. I had just listened to a web series about how a man shows his love vs how a woman does and Damien displayed a lot of the characteristics that the author had talked about. I loved how protective he was toward Krista. I love that he showed his love by doing things. So many books involve a millionaire and diamonds. Damien was a ‘real guy”, like my best guy friend. Damien would have done anything for her from killing a spider to bringing her food to protecting her and willing to lay down his life (the latter another thing that men do to show their love). I think Mickey MILLER does a good job
at crafting his male leading characters. I love that they fall in love first, that you hear their inner dialogue about falling before the females. His books have helped me to see that with all of the internal struggles women go through, men go through their own. It’s been enlightening.

I plan to see what other books I can find from Mickey.

1st time listening to this author

TBH the story line was ok. Weak at times and painful at others. I get the gist of the concept of the book I wish the storyline was a little stronger. The book narrators we're good

I had a hard time getting into this story. I felt like it was all over the place. It was unrealistic, and kind of silly. I rolled my eyes and cringed at times. Not even the silky, sensual, and beautiful voice of Lee Samuels could save this book for me. That was probably the only thing I liked was Mr Samuels.
