This book is hilarious! It literally had me laughing out loud. I loved the concept. I'm hoping there are more by this author.

The audio quality was fantastic and the performance was great.

Laugh Out Loud Funny and Sweet

I cannot say enough good things about this audiobook. I read some of the reviews before I started listening and there were a lot that mentioned how funny it was and how some were laughing out loud. I rolled my eyes a bit because I've seen those types of reviews before only to be disappointed. This is definitely NOT one of those cases. From the very first chapter, there are places where I was laughing so hard that I wondered if someone nearby was going to ask why I was laughing so hard. I could so easily see this book being turned into a rom-com movie that would be fantastic. Emily James' writing is so smooth and her storytelling is amazing. The story was so well written and Kim Bretton's narration brings every word to life. While the ending can be seen from a mile away, there is nothing that causes the ending to be disappointing. It is a sweet ending and wraps up a wonderfully done story. I know I will be going back to listen to this one again and I'm looking forward to listening to the second book in the series.

LOVED IT!

I love It! The narration was great and kept me entertained. The author does a great job with the character builds and plot. This was my first book by this author but definitely not my last. I look forward to reading more book in this series, I was given this free review copy audiobook at my request and have voluntarily left this review.

really funny

It started off a little boring with the first chapter being a little triggering, but it shortly makes up for it with funny antics. The main character finds herself in very awkward situations but totally takes her misfortune in stride. she is surrounded by a cast of truly caring friends.

The side characters are likable but a bit cliche.

I absolutely loved this!! The most hilarious moments but still felt my heart clench at parts. Narration was amazing.

6 was too weak to man up ;move on!

4 and 6 acted like crushes on a grade school playground with teases, baiting, and taunts (mostly by 6). Pull the hair of the one you like and run to get their attention. They acted so immature, especially 6. He couldn't man up until the last minute when he knew 4 was going to move!! WTH, dude! WEAK Game!!!The dates were funny and her bff was pure insane! The narrator's voice and expressions were great. I voluntarily listened to a free copy of this story and am giving an honest review.

Glad I’m Not Dating

Listening to this book made me both laugh my butt off and so glad I’m not dating. Love “Six” and “Four”. The interactions feel both real and surreal. Both have spunk that radiate through the pages. Fantastic!

Laughed Myself Silly

I thoroughly enjoy 10 Dates and am anxious to listen or read the next book in the series. I do believe Melinda is due a bit of payback for all she put her bestie through in this book. Kim Bretton is a new to me narrator. Her delightful British accent gives great life to the hilarious predicaments poor Joanie is subjected to at the hands of her friends. I thoroughly enjoyed listening to her narration and loved the characterization she gave each of the characters. I will definitely be looking into more books narrated by her. Grab this book or audiobook and prepare to laugh your arse off.
This rom/com is hysterical and definitely not safe for work, unless you want your coworkers looking oddly at you while you laugh yourself to tears.This is the first book I've read/listened to by this author and it will definitely not be the last. Ms. James's sense of humor is a breath of fresh air and her knack for getting her characters in ridiculous situations is more than amusing.
Poor Joanie can't catch a break. Blindsided by her longtime boyfriend, her best friend sets herself in gear to find Joanie the man of her dreams. Melinda forces her bestie into 10 dates in 10 days; each more hilarious than the last. Much to Joanie's chagrin, the train wreck of her dates is quite amusing to her hunky neighbor, Six, who sees the aftermath of each disaster. Joanie bounces between feeling sorry for herself and ranting to or about her enigmatic sexy neighbor, Six.
Ms. James excels at witty, humorous banter and double entendres. To avoid an accident, I literally had to pull off the road, I was laughing so hard listening to this book. Her characters are fun, witty, loyal and well-developed. Joanie's friends are the only thing in her life she can truly depend on. Melinda just wants her friend to find her HEA, even though her personal life is falling apart. While Mikey is a great best friend to both women, as he pursues the chef teaching his cooking class. I found the fact that the tenants refer to each other by their flat numbers very amusing. Especially since for Joanie, since she is drawn to Six and for her Six and sex synonymous.
