Can't wait for the next book!
I really loved this story I can't wait for the next day book. Only complain was the new Male narrator. I really liked the first one from the first book but otherwise I can't get enough of Syn and Ryder!!

John Wayne voice
Love the story, but should ha e used the man voice from book 1. This one sounded like john Wayne, great for a western, not this book. I will listen to a preview in the future if you continue the series on Audible.

Drama, politics and mystery
This story keeps getting better. The world-building is beautifully done; I am vested. There are many characters in the story, but they are all generously described. The author doesn’t hold back on the storylines . She is all in with the twists and turns . I had to use 3 credits for the whole series and it is worth it .

Absolutely epic!!!
Book 2 of 7 (others are not on Audible). Syn finds out and endures more secrets, treachery, and massive changes non-stop. Ryder pushes her to her limits and sometimes the readers too.
These books are not all sweet love. There is darkness, so much hurt, but also love - so much love.
A perfect mix of all.

Enjoye the story but the reader..
The main reader sounds like a Valley Girl. The male reader sounds stilted and robotic. The reading was a little distracting but I enjoyed the story.
