Great book! Not great audiobook.
I loved this story, but the audio narrator used a distractingly obnoxious performance voice throughout. I also prefer when books with alternating perspectives use two narrators.

Choppy narration, lots of crudity
There are some good insights and character growth in this book. The story is a good one.
However, almost all of the sex is “f-ing” and the use of that word in dialogue and narration seems gratuitous. Dirty talk can be sexy but this is just irritating. It was a little cute and funny at first but then not so much.
The many non punctuation, mid sentence pauses in the narration is distracting. She reads four words, pauses like it is the end of a sentence and then goes on. Also, the narrator’s reading style is perky throughout as well so at times it just seems perverse. Imagine Miss Nancy from Romper Room reading the very dirty sex scenes aloud and you might understand. It’s bizarre and a little disturbing.
I did listen all the way through because I was invested in the characters and the story.

TERRIBLE NARRATOR
The story might be great, I am a Victoria Dahl fan however this narrator was impossible to listen to. Sad to waste a credit.
