Love This Series

I am a huge fan of this series. It takes a while to get to the finish line but the books, while seemingly not connected, are connected in weird wonderful ways the only Susan Copperfield can do.

As far as the audio presentation, Cameron is fantastic to listen to. He changes his accent and tones for the characters which enhance the listener's experience.

A frothy Royal States treat!

The problem I had with this book is that it ended far too soon. I was totally caught up in the unfolding events. Although the book completed one story arc, I want to know what happens next, with the kingdom's political shakeup, and with the next generation, of both humans and horses! I'm very glad there are already several other books set in this world. I'm going to have to relisten to some of the earlier stories to keep from exploding with impatience waiting for the next piece of the Royal States mosaic!

Pat is so amazingly unassuming that he easily wins your heart. Great story that brought more detail to a great love story.

Very tasty treat

I enjoyed all of this novella. Even the baddies who were not truly scary to read about. The children were set up to show shade’s of whom they will become.
