Resumen del Editor

Ferris Bueller’s Day Off meets Nick and Nora’s Infinite Playlist in this romp through the city that never sleeps from the New York Times best-selling author of Since You’ve Been Gone.

Two girls. One night. Zero phones.

Kat and Stevie - best friends, theater kids, polar opposites - have snuck away from the suburbs to spend a night in New York City. They have it all planned out. They’ll see a play, eat at the city’s hottest restaurant, and have the best. Night. Ever. What could go wrong?

Well. Kind of a lot?

They’re barely off the train before they’re dealing with destroyed phones, family drama, and unexpected Pomeranians. Over the next few hours, they’ll have to grapple with old flames, terrible theater, and unhelpful cab drivers. But there are also cute boys to kiss, parties to crash, dry cleaning to deliver (don’t ask), and the world’s best museum to explore.

Over the course of a wild night in the city that never sleeps, both Kat and Stevie will get a wake-up call about their friendship and their choices...and finally discover what they really want for their future.

Great Book, Not So Good Narration

That was SUPER fun, I like these kind of books, it was fast paced but enough for me to be invested in the story
So the book is told from three-ish point of views, first we have Kat who is determined to get a role in the school play and for that she has to convince her teacher that she is the perfect lead by attending his play in New York and shows him she is dedicated, Second we have Stevie, Kat's best friend who is really sad that her father cancelled his plans to celebrate her birthday in New York, So both girls decide to have the best night of their lives .. in New York, which brings us to the third POV Teri, she was supposed to be the cover for both Kat and Stevie while they are in New York but she ends up having the most exciting adventure between them all that gets get to CANADA !!! yup !!
I really enjoyed this book and it reminded me a lot of her book " Save The Date" and I really would love to see more of these happy, fluffy, messy book :D

The narrators felt really out of it, I felt they were barely trying to perform .. I don't know why but they were annoying to listen to most of the time specially during the emotional scenes

Fun story- NOT a fan of the main narrator's voice

What a wild adventure! I thought this story was super fun even while being highly unbelievable. The only downfall for me was the main narrator's voice (Kat). It was high-pitched, overly peppy, and squeaky. I really enjoyed the narrator for Stevie though. Her voice was much calmer and easier on the ears.

Amazing Second Reader

Both readers were great, and I really enjoyed the story. I liked the second reader the most because I thought she was the most well-researched in her work. She pronounced NYC street names like how New Yorkers pronounce them. She was also super interesting and entertaining to listen to and made the story come to life. Overall, would highly recommend this audiobook!

I lol’d irl :D

This starts out pretty slow in my opinion. But y’all hang in there, it gets so funny. I had people looking at me like I lost my mind with my random guffaws.

I gave the story four stars because of the slow beginning. I would rather have given it 4.7 stars. The slow beginning really isn’t all that bad.

This reminds me of a cross between Adventures in Babysitting and New York Minute and a lot of other 80’s movies. I had quite a few “what the actual heck” moments. I really felt like j was apart of the shenanigans.

I hope you lol irl just like I did.
