Returning home

Josie left their small town for city life and thought she would be successful, but it was not all what she expected. Now she is back with only ten dollars to her name. She parks her car on Everett's (her bestfriend and former boyfriend's uncle) to sleep in her car but she is caught by him. He insists she must come up to the property. Everett has always thought of Josie but thinks she is too young for him.

The narrators did a good job, especially the male one.

Really cute age gap romance

This was a really cute age gap romance. I loved the story, so sweet and emotional and yet so steamy. Cassie Mint always delivers. Josie and Everett had great chemistry and I just loved their story.

Audiobook review: I really liked the narration and especially the female narrator but both did an excellent job.

Josie and Evert relationship starts when she cames back home after not being successful. Henry uncle, Evert, will give her a job. He has feelings for her but feels he’s older than her and she used to date Henry, his nephew. Things heated up between them but how will Henry feel about this. I loved the narrator’s voices.

This is my first audiobook from this author and it was well done. The narrators sound like the characters they portray and they did an awesome job in representing the book. I have been reading her books for a while and now listening to them is great.

Pleasure to listen to

I loved this book and really enjoyed the audio. The narrator voices were sexy, soothing, and very fitting for the characters. There wasn't a lot of differentiation between voices which was confusing at times. Josie versus Harry for the female narrator, and Everett versus Josie for the male narrator, but it didn't impact the enjoyment all that much. I don't often listen to audio books because the narration doesn't fit the voice in my head, but I recommend this one. It was a pleasure to listen to.
