Resumen del Editor

Get ready for heroic acts of devotion, devilish entertainment, unexplainable coincidences, and bold inspiration.

From a special four-legged childhood friend to the newest Humane Society adoption during the coronavirus lockdown, Lorilyn reveals the deep and profound bond between animals and her family. As in her award-winning memoir Children of Dreams, Lorilyn unearths spiritual truths and biblical insights to answer the question many have asked, “Will we see our furry friends in heaven?”

If you love stories about animals, you’ll love thi

I am someone who never wanted a pet and could never understand how people treated their dogs and cats like they were people… Then I got Toby a pitbull Chihuahua mix he is a handful and very lovable. Having said that I wanted the stories. The first few stories I found to be very pat and almost unbelievable. Like how they had to get rid of gypsy because they were threatened with eviction and yet when gypsy came back they kept her and didn’t get evicted. Also, on the day they were leaving to go to the country they couldn’t find gypsy and wouldn’t you know it when she was giving Up to get into the car here she comes running down the street. Maybe the stories are true truth is stranger than fiction and I am a very cynical person having said that I love the stories about serious, but the one about poor Molly who she bought unknowingly from a puppy mill and then gave to dog breeders and was upset when she kept getting pregnant. What did she think was going to happen? Thank God she got her back. There were some very humorous stories in this book and some that had me raising my eyebrow. Overall though I found it mostly entertaining and although the narrator wasn’t my favorite she was pleasant enough. If you love animals you’ll really love this book and ask for my opinion are usually find I am alone in it, But I do want to say this throughout the book she talks about her love of God and being a Christian ET see yeah we’re talking about her husband and the woman he left her for she has no problem being spiteful and I found throughout the book on many different occasions was very prideful. It is not my place to judge I just was pointing that out because we can all work on being a better Christian and maybe she didn’t realize this while riding the book.
