I was so wrapped up in this one

I enjoyed the audio version of this book!

I was running out of Audiobooks and discovered this one! I don't usually read or listen to medieval genres! I decided for the price I was willing to try it! I was quickly involved and pulled into the story! I haven't been able to concentrate on reading another book (I often read several at once), because I was so wrapped up in this one and needed to know how it would turn out! Wonderful clean romance! I highly recommend it!

What made the experience of listening to Sword of Forgiveness the most enjoyable?

The wonderful narration of Anne Flosnik, her ability to give life to each character is always amazing

Brithwin and Royce, two honorable people forced to marry by the King, lies, mistrust and outside forces threatens them both. Brithwin's faith helps her survive and finally gives Royce back his faith. Looking forward to more of Debbie Lynn Costello books with the narration by Anne Flosnik of course!

Where does Sword of Forgiveness rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?

Pretty high up in the rankings of the books I've listened to. I will probably listen again to it someday.

Who was your favorite character and why?

Brithwin was my favorite. She was strong, even after all she had endured. She also had much more to endure throughout the story.

Have you listened to any of Anne Flosnik’s other performances before? How does this one compare?

I don't believe that I've listened to this narrator before. At first, I wasn't sure if I was going to enjoy the narration of this novel. However, after about a chapter, I decided that I really enjoyed this narrator. She did a great job with the voices and was a very enthusiastic narrator.

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

Once I reached the halfway point in the book, it was very hard to set it down.

I really enjoyed this story and hope that another book in the series will be released soon.

Finally, a book with more twists and turns, I couldn’t wait for the ending. I then dreaded it, so good!!! I am glad to read about his… no no spoilers for the next book in the series.

accusations

Even if a story is full of romance, with even some intimate scenes, it is difficult to become engrossed in a story that begins with nothing but accusations. A book, like a movie, is supposed to catch a reader early on. After insisting upon myself to continue after the first half hour, all I could think of was what a cruel, chovenistic, domineering man the main character was.

Christian Historical Romance

I loved his book so much I could hardly stop listen to it. Strong characters that are so likable and a Scottish type setting. Wonderful book very well written. I enjoyed it from start to finish

Great romance, great mystery!

Folks, I've read Lisa Kleypas, Mary Balogh, Alexandra Potter... and let me tell you, lady Debbie is right on par with these artists of romance!

In this story, a younger son of an estate is ordered by the king to marry the heiress of a neighboring one. After some traumatic news, he's suspicious of many people... including her. She has her own deal of problems and a past full of hurt, but maybe with the help of faith in God and loyal servants, they can find peace, solve a murder... and maybe even find love!

Though both the main characters are quite likeable, my nod goes to wonderfully drawn supporting cast of servants, maids and friends of our hero and heroine. They make this story truly rich.

Give this book a read, or a listen. You're going to love the plot twists, they are very nicely set up. The author gave me hints all along, and only in the end did I find out that... Well. Find on your own!

Yes.

I loved Anne Flosnik's narration of the book and would defiantly seek more works by her.

Anne accurately captured and narrated the accent of the various characters that was in par with the time period.

Which scene was your favorite?

I loved the scenes where we saw Brithwin as a strong woman capable of running things on her own.

She might of been oppressed , but still managed to be resourceful.

I enjoyed seeing Royce warm to her despite his suspicions of her nature.

Seeing two strong , independent people fall in love is always a pleasure.
