Listening is better than reading for this book!!

Do yourself a favor and listen to this book. To hear Kyle read this book you can feel the emotion in his voice on the funny stories you can also feel his hurt and sadness from the tragedies that have been in his life. This book really open my eyes to more of Kyle Petty his family Their trials and their triumphs. Do yourself a favor and listen to this book all the way to the end and to hear the song at the end well that was just an unexpected surprise. Kyle, I wish you and your family the very best I will be following you and your music and I look forward to riding motorcycles with you again, Sincerely Mark

Great stories about an extraordinary life. Everyone should read whether you follow NASCAR or not.

Kyle is a great storyteller. I’m not a NASCAR fan, but that doesn’t matter when reading this book. Kyle had me laughing out loud and a few pages later there would be tears of sorrow running down my cheeks. Loved it from cover to cover.

History with heart

As someone from just up the road in North Carolina, I really enjoyed this book! It is full of stories that even someone, who is very familiar with racing and the Petty family, had never heard. It's very Kyle Petty! It has history, personal and historical, that really keeps you entertained and touches your heart.

I laughed, I cried, I smiled

Real raw emotions intertwined with hilarious adventures. We usually shy away from books read by the author, this one was an exemption - it could only have been read by Kyle. You don’t have to be a race fan to enjoy the ride.

Entertaining and Moving

Kyle Petty shares his life, the highs and lows, in a moving and entertaining way. I enjoyed the book from start to finish. Even if you’re not a hardcore race fan, you’ll find it thoughtful and interesting.

really loved Kyle's stories of his and his families lives.. if you are into NASCAR you have to read this book!! Kyle is a great reader...wish he could do more books!!!!!

Genuine!

A genuine writing by a genuine man! It took a lot for Kyle to bring out into the public eye (or ear) such private events and emotions. I pray that others who have lost loved ones (esp. their children) gain even a small sense of comfort from Kyle’s words. What a joy to be welcomed into his life’s experiences. He really is an individual within the NASCAR that is unmatched on so many levels. Thank you Kyle! May the Lord continue to carry you through your sorrow and bless your path. Keep the stories coming, because you have a gift for telling them!!

Awesome

I loved it, probably the best part, was hearing Kyle's voice in my head. The only disappointment is that it is over. So much history, as only Kyle could tell it. Thank You for writing this.
