Giselle, however, can’t get Bryce out of her system and continues to see him behind Giovanni’s back. As the war between these two men heats up again, Giselle has to decide if being with the man she loves is worth risking her life.

I didn’t read what the book was about or reviews beforehand.

The book is a little extreme and WARNING - CAN BE TRIGGERING (contains a lot of domestic abuse and rape). Samantha Moon definitely made me listen to the end. Great narration and good book.

Good read

This was a good book. I think the reader did a good job reading the book. My credit was not wasted.

Great Novel potential, Elementary execution

I agree with other reviewers on the point that it’s way too dark. And, the sex after you hear the hellish abusiveness? If you get turned on, I’m sorry, you have some issues. This book had great suspense/thriller action going but they rushed it. Giselle could have gone much farther. She’s definitely a fighter and overcame a lot…but the story got stuck in too much mediocre, out of nowhere sex and not enough storytelling.

Unexpected plot

I enjoyed the story but it had alot of violence toward the main character. Really graphic. Psycho spouse. God ending but this sad nonetheless.

Amazing!!!!! Absolutely Amazing!!!

It keeps you attention from beginning to end!!! Just even you thinks it’s over, BOOM just another twist. This narrator, she one of my favorite, she helps you visualize everything as if your watching a movie!!! Mmmm so sensual!

TWarning_unbalanced storyline

Why are the “no consent” sections longer than the romantic ones. Wtf. Very dark storyline.

Good book

The book was a nice single book. The character Giselle went through alot. the book has some parts i didnt care for. 🤓🍷All I can say is the end works out well.

WT natural F#ck!!

Rape, betrayal, pedophilia, murder! If you like that kind of storyline then this is the book for you. It is a loaded gun with a RIDICULOUS main character. It was hard for me to wrap my head around Gissel's choices and it left me with unanswered questions. What happened to the low down father-in-law or the police chief? No one got their justice due!

Trigger warning

This story has a LOT of trauma happening to the main character! Towards the end of the book I started fast forwarding the abuse parts.

WTF

OK I was attempting to avoid this. However after listening to the ending of this book I realize that it was just necessary for other listeners to know how this book came apart. I have never heard somebody whine so much in one of these books as this young lady did.

Gisselle was the stupidest VICTIM I had ever seen. I think the ultimate thing for me that was just the biggest turn off was when she hid the gun behind her and her husband was about to kill her lover. It took her all that time even though she has a gun for a moment, and didn’t use it. I will NOT read another book from this writer. I just don’t think she did a good job at all!
