Great zombie short with female lead

Would you consider the audio edition of Survival to be better than the print version?

I only experienced the audible version, but I know I wouldn't have enjoyed a print version as much.

Which character – as performed by Lisa L. Wiley – was your favorite?

Sarah, the main character. She was a normal, relatable woman that really worked well in her role.

Quick but Good!

Downloaded this book last night and could not stop listening until done. Loved it! When is the next one? Good horror but much too short wanted it to continue. Sarah is a heroic female and thumbs up to Meredith. This audiobook was provided by the author, narrator, or publisher at no cost in exchange for an unbiased review courtesy of Audiobook Blast. Short Prologue

A short prologue to what could be a full book of Zombie Apocalypse action. A Twin saves her sister from bad guys, then helps others escape zombies. They end up with work friends and are ready for whatever the future brings...

Zombies In Ft. Worth!

If you could sum up Survival in three words, what would they be?

Way to short. That's probably not what Audible had in mind when they came up with the question, but they sum it up for me. The story was just starting to get really good and engrossing and BAM, I'm hearing "we hope you've enjoyed...." signaling the end of the book. There are many topics that, of course, have been left hanging and I'm sure that was the authors plan all along. I hope the next book in the series is an actual book and not another novella. Since this first one is so short, I'd also like to see the next book start with the novella and then just keep going. Although it was really good, there wasn't enough to it to really imprint on my brain.

What was one of the most memorable moments of Survival?

Probably when Sarah returns to the warehouse and rescues her sister

This was my first listen with Ms. Wiley as the narrator

No, but like I said to was really short, I did like the part where they rescued the kids

A great story about a sick-ass woman

When a zombie apocalypse hits Fort Worth, Sarah and her twin are kidnapped by three men who threaten to feed them to zombies. Sarah escapes and desperately seeks a way to save her sister. A quick story about rivals coming together to save loved ones. Great performance. Recommend.

Zombies and cancer..

Zombies and Cancer....something I have never seen together before in any book, tv show, or movie. This story starts us off right in the middle of the action. It's not often that a book does that, and it definitely grabs the reader right away. The only downside in this case is that I would have liked to see a little more back story/ world building. We are given enough information to understand, but not much more. I wondered why the cancer was included, but I figure it will be a major facter in the future of the series. I wish this was a little longer as well! The narrator of the audiobook did a great job, and I liked her voice. I enjoyed this audiobook and I hope to continue with the next.

Ok short story

This book is outside my normal genres, but I enjoy stepping out of my normal once in a while. This is a very short book, it felt more like a part of a book. Due to the shortness of the book there isn’t a lot of character development, I almost felt like I knew more about the minor characters than the main characters. Even at the very end of the book I felt new elements to the characters were being introduced, making me wonder what lead to that point in time. Zombie apocalypse books are ones I often avoid because of language and violence. This book does have a bit of language and some violence, but I didn’t feel it was overwhelming as I find with some books in this genre. I may have only been willing to listen to the full book due to how short it is, I don’t know. I would be interested in more of the story and may be willing to listen or read more, but don’t know that I’d pay for it.

Terrific audiobook!

Well this is so good, I will be getting the complete series. My ranking puts this book on my top shelf. One of the things that that stood out was the shook that completely locked-up some of the characters that were totally unprepared for an apocalyptic event. I highly recommend this book/series.
