These former enemies learn they must work together to survive. Friendship soon turns to passion and love, but Eloise doesn’t know the full scope of Surin’s crimes or what the asseptians have planned for him.
Will Eloise risk her heart to save Surin? Or will he sacrifice his life to save her?

Love between species can be found, especially between the dragons who can change form and humans.

I did not like that more information was not given about what was going to be done about the new aliens. No information if there is a continuation of this book.

Great storyline but the virtual voice took the pep out of the overall feel of the storyline.

Narration was hard to get past.

It was a pretty standard story in this genre, so good if this is what you’re looking for.
The virtual voice narration was difficult. There was very little inflection, and when there was it was often in the incorrect place. Some words sounded as though they were cut off so it was choppy. There was no difference between the characters so more than once I had to go back to figure out who was talking. If a different virtual voice was used for each character it may have been easier to listen to, however, as it is now, I’d rather pay extra to have real actors narrate.

Engaging story

Character development unfolded nicely, so entertaining I listened to it all day and really felt involved in this sci fi romance. This was my first experience with this author and I plan to see what other books she has written
