Unusual

I was not expecting to enjoy this book. I picked it up randomly and got a very good surprise. I was very good it keep my interest till the end and wanting more.

Really love the story love all the descriptive details and the author pull me into the story

I thought I wouldn’t like the AI voice but it wasn’t that bad. Great story line. I like how their love took time and they both needed to heal but the instant attraction helped it along.

Unexpectedly good story

This story kept me very entertained. I have gone back and listened to this a few times.

I've nearly given up on this story multiple times. It is badly in need of an editor. There are clear copy errors as well as repeated grammatical issues that need some work. I feel like this is a decent rough draft to launch the real story from.

The story has coercive sex scenes that somehow are supposed to be magically okay, but to me they aren't. It isn't a one-off theme. If there was a content warning, I missed it.

The relationships between the characters feels forced and trite. The dynamic between the wife and the housekeeper on an advanced alien planet is hard to believe. Harder to believe is that the housekeeper manages the household finances. in a time with digital credits, would they not also have auto pay on bills, and direct billing for regular grocery orders?

The computer narration makes the story even more unpleasant. It sucks the life and inflection out of the characters. Where a soul is needed to make the reader care about our main characters, the robotic tones only highlight the more unpalatable aspects of the story. Please pay real voice actors to narrate stories. I wouldn't have downloaded this book if I had seen that it was read by a bot.

Interesting twist to a tail…we have all heard before.

The last book I listened to with a reptile/mammal mashup man, they totally missed twisted tail action. I liked this book. Yes, I am a dirty bird.

Virtual voice is getting better, don’t let the narrator run you off because it’s virtual. Honestly, I keep a list of narrators that are SO BAD I won’t buy any book they narrate (yes Heather, you are at the top). I won’t let bad narration Costa me money.
