Mostly Good

Better character development than most super hero books. Incongruous that the main super hero who is like Superman suddenly starts losing fights when the plot needs for him to be weaker. Overall a fun read if you like the genera. I would read a sequel if one is written-- just don't expect a literary masterwork.

Loved every minute

Both the premise and the wonderful as usual narration by Fred Berman (Yes, I'm a fan). Was a little disappointed to understand this might not be a stand alone.

Underrated book that deserves praise

This is an incredible listen. While it can be predictable and jumps around a lot at the start, it takes you on a wild adventure with the time old “good vs bad” using plot lines that keep the listener engaged. I loved listening to this. The predictability makes you feel safe during uncertain real world times. But the drama, the ups and downs, kept my heart pumping. I cheered for the characters and wept. I laughed and fell a little in love with the selflessness of Iggy.

This book hits all the marks of a good listen and I cannot wait for book 2!

Predictable story and fully of swearing

This author doesn’t seem to have a good grasp of vocabulary as there is too many of the same few words repeated through out this book. Story was not as grasping as I would have hoped with the interesting premise.

Stay with it.

The first presented villain is cartoonish abd some of the superpowers strain belief, but once the story really gets going it’s enjoyable and fun and definitely pulled me in. It also does have some very interesting ideas about what would happen in a world where almost everyone was randomly assigned super powers.

Not the usual super hero story

The beginning was a little slow for me, but I'm very happy I kept going. Not your typical "super heroes are perfect and great" story. I'll definitely give this another listen. Performance is great.

Surprisingly Great!

I rarely leave written reviews but I am really surprised at how much I enjoyed this book. It is well written, great narration and engaging.

SUPER FUN

Superworld is a truly unique and clever superhero story. I absolutely loved every minute of it! I really hope there's a sequel.
