Then in Mars One we find out just how much humanity's eager reach may be exceeding its grasp when "space boredom" drives one astronaut to what should have been a mere harmless prank, triggering a series of events that...well, let's just say the title of this one was almost Mars One, Earth Zero.

Being raised in the 50's and 60's the two stories reminded me of the black and white SCIFI movies at that time. I do recommend them to everyone to read.

I tried to like it...
2 short stories. While I really struggled with the poor narration, I wanted to give both stories a chance. Both had decent character development, and I was actually starting to be drawn into the mystery of the pods in the first story when BAM! it abruptly ended in a matter of minutes! Story veered into the patently absurd and ridiculous, then THE END. What?! 2nd story was ok, actually lol a couple of times, and wrapped up nicely.

Great sci fi plot, and something new
really enjoyed the story and narration for Children of the coming world. Mars 1 seems to be told in log entries and took a little bit to adjust to some abrupt jumps. the narration was smotthe and great voices.

Excellent Short Sci-fi
Two excellent short science fiction stories. The first had the flavor of those quick, not too deep, stories of the sci-fi golden era.
The second, Mars One, had a more modern feeling . Perfectly narrated by Allen Grunerud, the central character sardonically relates all the tragic mishaps of cramming six people on a spacecraft for the first mission to Mars. Two very entertaining stories.
