For Sam Lovell, organising the summer festival in her hometown is one of the highlights of her year. Female shamed and repetitive writing.
(On my husbands account) I usually love the romance trope…the cheesier the better-it is my escape. This book though, this book struck several cords. The shaming of the main character was awful. The dude should have been the one apologizing and running after her. The repetition of “oh I’m adopted” and “oh everyone leaves” and “oh I’ve had a hard childhood” Is redundant and ridiculous over and over again. It could have been so much better.
