A Very PG Rock Star Romance

This was a very sweet love story that focused less on the rock star and more on the romance. It didn't delve to deep into the life of the rock star like most traditional books so if you're looking for that look elsewhere. This is also a very PG book so of your looking for something a little more steamy, also look elsewhere. This is just a cute sweet simple love story. Worth a listen.

A cut above

A lot of this kind of romance novel is just an excuse to write poorly done sex scenes. Julia London is several cuts above and clearly has more depth.

I enjoyed the story. My favorite character was Wallis. I also like that Mia knew who she was and was okay being different.

Rock star romance that’s highly recommended

This is one of my all time favorite books to read and listen to. Mia and Brennan’s story is just so timeless. Mia and all her quirkiness just makes me smile and laugh. Brennan’s journey to find himself again is so heartwarming. They are two people who never should have worked, but are just so perfect for one another.

The beginning of the story grabs me and the ending puts it all together so beautifully. I’ve read it twice and listened to it three times, and am just as touched as I was the first time.

The reader does an excellent job and needs to narrate so much more. She’s just perfect for this book.

Very enjoyable

Very enjoyable story. Fun characters that draw you in & makes you happy. Love the dose of reality about how teenagers act around the kids who don't fit the mold.

Poignant somewhat believable tale of two talented mismatched people who find themselves when they find love

Good story a bit overlong and drown out but containing a lot of depth and character development. I especially liked the insight into Brennan's mind and emotions as he responds to the unexpected. Mia's character is more predictable as the off beat individualist. Would have liked to have had a bit more on cousin Skylar towards the end, gay colleague Wallace, Mia's grandma, and Brennan's mom. I hope all these characters reappear in the rest of the Lake Haven series but would love to see another mini drama and resolution involving Mia and Brennan.

The rock star and the artist -- ROCK!!

Really enjoyed this book! It was fun and romantic and yes, it's quite sexy. It was SO enjoyable and just what I needed.

Honestly, I was a bit weary going in as I've been surprised in the past with too much sexiness. I love sexy scenes but they have to be done tastefully and they have to add to the story. Julia London definitely delivered.

Argh! I can't express enough how much I enjoyed this story. It was so much fun! I just wish I felt more connected with the characters.

Cristina Panfilio was delightful as a narrator. I loved the different voices she provided each character and she was quite soothing to listen to after a long day of work.

Cheers to an awesome, fun and romantic story!

Great Story

This was a really nice story. it had a great story line, and believable. I liked the author. Definitely lacking the hot and steamy parts but didnt miss it too much because it was a wonderful love story. I really, really liked the narrator Christian Panfilio.
