Elizabeth Bennet accepts the hand of Mr. Darcy, not for love, but to protect her family. At first, she struggles to understand the proud and distant man who has become her husband, yet little by little she discovers the true heart concealed beneath his mask of reserve.

But married life proves far from easy. Trials and misunderstandings abound, and silence often speaks louder than words. As admiration for her husband grows, so too does resentment, leaving Elizabeth to wonder whether love may yet triumph—or whether pride and wounded feelings will stand forever between them.

You’re no better than anyone else

Mr. Bennett, passed away too soon. Caroline, did not get enough Comeuppance, she should’ve been made to feel the way she makes others feel.

Hardly sure what to blame?

Was this an uneven narrative or a VV slaughter? Even at warp speed (1.4 or 1.5) it wasn’t possible to be sure that this was a four star effort by the author. Maybe it wasn’t worth HF or SZ expense, but the gossip threads alone could have raised the level of the story given even a modicum of personality. If narrated by someone instead of “something” I would listen to it again at least once to find out.

Darcy at His Haughtiest Stupidity

What stood out most was how long it took Darcy to overcome his stupidity! He refused to listen to anyone until he thought he'd lost his 'beloved' wife. Can one really say how much another is loved when you refuse to even DISCUSS an important part of their life?

The fact that certain parts were repeated (Darcy's Darcy's time or whatever) made the AI seem a lot more artificial and a lot less intelligent.

But overall, it wasn't bad.
