Great story, I enjoyed listening during my drive to work back-and-forth. Hopper is great.

Great Story, Can Be Canon!

Had a rough ending with the antagonist but the narrator did well with making it feel like it was Hopper. It could be Canon to the show itself and overall, a great read.

Really great prequel!

I really enjoyed this one. I liked the potential tie ins it makes in keeping with the overall eeriness of the series.

Great narrator!

I have so far enjoyed the Stranger Things books. I enjoy the stories expanding that world for me. This particular narrator really brought the different characters to life.

Another cop story cliché.

This isn't a bad story, but it is the same American noir cop story that has been told time again and again in films and other books. It is kinda boring.

I liked the story well enough but was extremely put off by the narrator and his impressions of female characters. Having said that, I ended up listening to it a 2x speed just to get through it.

Please release more books! Learning the characters back stories are the best part! Hopper has a great back-story!
