Procrastination is defined as putting off tasks, either until the last minute or past their deadline. Some researchers go even further to say that procrastination is a form of self-regulation failure, which is characterized by the irrational delay of tasks despite any potentially negative consequences. While everyone procrastinates from time to time, ADHD procrastination is a totally different thing. It is much more extreme, more regular, more damaging, harder to control, and paired with other symptoms.
