I love it when the series is in one book!
Great HaremLit adventure with the main character a Witch, later a wizard, rescuing the world with his harem of hot gargoyles, witches and elves, and such.
He goes back in time and takes over for a sitting senator and visits Avalon.
What's not to like?

Great story
Enjoyed the story. I know one of the critiques was that integrating the government was unrealistic, but given the subject matter I think the author did a great job. It’s fantasy. And this book was a good one. While the mature content was welcome, the story was good enough to stand on its own, and the mature content was not overwhelming.

Couldn’t finish it
I wanted to finish the story but wasn’t able to. The storyteller wasn’t consistent with the way he spoke, and it was very distracting when he would speak quickly through the story during the exciting parts.

a decent tale the falls a little short
it has a good story and the narrator has a nice voice. the action scenes drag a bit but are entertaining. the sex scenes are penthouse forum rejects and the whole thing would be better without them. they're a failed attempt to increase the interests of men. skip over the unnecessary sex scenes & it's a good story.

Great book and a fantastic ending
I enjoyed listening to this book series quite a bit and while it is not his highest selling book series i believe that it is one of his best written in regards to the story line but some of the characters seem to be lacking depth due to what seems to be rushed back stories. I highly enjoyed the book as a whole and don't regret the listen but i would have liked a little more background information on some of the women and a better sense of how they interact between themselves as well.
