Better than I expected
When my daughter sent me this book and said a co-worker wrote it, I was skeptical. I am so glad I actually listened to it! There were times the narration came across as choppy (I assume an editing thing) but I very much enjoyed the story and the characters. It’s a book I think would make a really good movie! I’m honestly anxiously awaiting the next book and want to listen to this one again when I can do it in a more condensed timeline. I see it says Book 1 so am hoping there will be several.

Fantastic story!
When I read the hard copy I could hardly put it down. Todd Hosea is a master storyteller and this story is exciting at every turn. The character development really kept me interested and invested in the outcome. Can't wait for book 2!
Listening to the book was fun as I got even more out of the story. It's SCI-FI, however, when Todd tells the story it àll sounds plausible. WELL DONE!!

Excellent you have to get this one
All those positive reviews are well founded this audiobook about first contact and more. Like many other reviews have stated the strong point is the characters they are good people trying to do there best in there on way.
The narration is great at first I thought the narration was going to be average at best however I soon realized what a fantastic job the narrator does with each character you know who is speaking and the voices are great.
If you like science fiction this is a must and if you don't like science fiction its a must, seriously it's that good I'm certainly happy I came across this audiobook I almost passed it by...so glad I took a chance on it you should to.

Good YA……….. maybe
I have 2:33 left in the book and I can’t finish. The first half was pretty good. The last 1/4 is not. If you want a casual book book for your high school student this might be good enough. If you are a serious consumer of sci-fi look elsewhere.
