Resumen del Editor

“But I hate the sound of my voice.” Those are usually the first words new podcasters tell me. Their confidence is shaken. They think they don’t have what it takes. Their mind has misled them to believe they should be amazing the first time they sit down in front of the mic.

You thought you were supposed to be good right out of the gate? Oh, no. We’re all terrible in the beginning! And guess what...you can’t change the sound of your voice. So, let’s fill it with confidence, instead?

This book is meant to educate, inspire, and encourage you. I don’t have some fancy degree in podcasting magic. I can’t make you sound like you’re in a million-dollar studio when you’re really recording in your closet surrounded by piles of laundry.

But I can teach you how to create content your audience craves every week.

I can teach you how to sit at your mic - with your head held high - because you know you’re talking to the exact person you want to reach, you’re delivering valuable content, and you’re not agonizing over all of the stupid editing. (Can we all stop losing sleep over the editing?)

I’m not saying podcasting is easy.

It takes a lot of work, planning, learning from mistakes, being vulnerable, and trying to improve every day. But with the things I’ll teach you in this book, at least you’ll have a lot of fun every step of the way. So, let’s get started.

Decent content but unlistenable

I am truly shocked that a professional would leave in all the throat clearing and restarts … in an audio book about AUDIO. I saw this is another review and figured it couldn’t be that bad. It is.

I assume she’s trying to represent the message of letting go of perfection, but this takes it too far. I’m going to attempt the kindle version because I think there’s some good stuff here, but I really shouldn’t have to have someone clearing their throat directly into my ear.

Unfortuanately I returned this one

Great practical info but the lack of editing made it extremely hard to listen to, and in the end it became so distracting I couldn't finish.
