Star of Darkness is an emotionally charged adventure story about redemption, found family, and learning how to care for others and be cared for in return.
On the run from killers who hide in the shadows, Jasika has made dangerous enemies and even more dangerous friends. When her guildmaster is killed under suspicious circumstances, she wants the culprit to receive the only kind of justice she knows. The price on her head, however, has her running for her life. She takes to the seas, both to stay one step ahead of those who follow and to begin building a new life as far away from her homeland as possible.
Her world of shadows is transformed into sun and waves as she hides herself among the unsuspecting, building new alliances and new enemies. Soon, all that is left of the world she once knew are her dangerous memories and an ancient box that holds the key to shape not only Jasika’s future but also the future of the entire realm.
