Better editing is needed. You can always tell when the narrator took a break; they often repeat anywhere from a few words to half a paragraph.

Good character vulnerability
I really enjoyed the vulnerability showed by alot of the characters in this one. I had listened to one other Aer-ki Jyr title and liked it, but this one I really connected with. The universe that Jyr has created is very impressive. Very enjoyable story and narration.
