This message is exactly what I needed to hear and believe that God will speak to all women who listen to this book. I enjoyed it narrated by Allie, she opened her heart in sharing her story and perfectly balanced it with speaking to women and connecting the Word to her message!

PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE read this book NOW! I have shared it with all of my friends and family because it is life-changing and it would just be cruel to not share this wisdom with those that I love.
I love that the author, Alli, narrates her own book and makes you feel as if she has been a forever friend. Alli is a straight forward, down to earth girl and I LOVE the ALT version (Alli Living Translation). I normally multitask and listen to my books as I'm washing dishes, folding clothes, driving my kids to and from activities, but this book is SO amazing that I just HAD to take notes! I have also ordered the paperback version and I plan on devouring this again and again. This book is LIFE CHANGING, ladies! I have NEVER, and I do mean NEVER, connected to a book like a have Standing Strong! God placed this in my path at the PERFECT time! I play worship music 24/7 in our home and plan on replacing (for this season) with Standing Strong. I want my girls to grow up with the wisdom that Alli shares in this book. I want my girls to know that Standing Strong is about yielding to God and getting out of their own way. I just can't say enough about this book. I don't think I will ever find a book that tops this one.

Refreshingly different

So I was skeptical about this book at first. In a world of all these self help, girls rule, follow your own path, women’s movement self care all day everyday world we currently live in, I was afraid this book would be the same. I was ABSOLUTELY proven wrong and so ecstatic within just a few pages of reading (or listening I should say). I had many outbursts of “amen”, “right on”, and “gut punch”! I couldn’t stop and would have finished within the day if my precious darlings weren’t in need. Alli did a great job going to scripture to show us her point or thought path everytime....I can read that and hide those truths in my pocket! So thankful for a woman who wrote about her convictions, trials, her oppsie moments and her wins. Refreshing is an understatement!

Amazing story of faith and resilience!

Standing Strong encourages women to hold on to their God-given goals and dreams no matter what life brings their way. Alli provides countless examples from her own faith journey and gives tangible guidance for standing strong when faced with adversity. 45 and feel lost

This book spoke right to where I am sitting. I have been in a funk and a bit of a pitty party. This book allowed me to feel normal in this season I have an am in. Self esteem is pretty much zero and purpose is at a negative - this book allowed me to be refreshed and encouraged me. I know God has me but understanding how I have not been partnering with God and seeking clarity and strength in this season were two of the big moments for me in this book.
