Beautiful, but Spirit wouldn’t allow me to learn from it. But I know it will help another soul!

Mind-blowing

I LOVE this book. I'm still reading it because I feel some much of it needs to be read and re read because there are so many simple yet mind blowing Ah-ha moments for me.

USEFUL BOOK

can certainly recommend this book for a starter. Very thorough, thoughtful, and helpful. So far, the best book I've seen on this subject. Highly recommend.

Ideal guide

Love this author. I especially love that the author is wicca but doesn’t try to push that on you and is very clear that spellcraft/ witchcraft is personal and doesn’t have to be connected to a religion. I also like that they don’t sell the “and motte it be” and the be all end all of closing phrases. I like to make my own and I feel like the author truly did an excellent job of offering guidance and tips without disrespecting the fact that it’s YOUR craft!

Works best

This was my first official “how to book” and it was nice to cross reference some of the things I had discovered on my own with another source. I was a little nervous because it is so personal, and I’m very sensitive to “tone” in writing but I feel like the author was gentle but firm, and gave me some new things to consider while also affirming somethings I had already found to be true. So it was a nice experience!

I will use this book as a reference and tool when I need it. Some was refreshing my knowledge the rest to add to it.

I enjoyed the way the author explains each of the different kinds of modern witches and what they believe. The steps to purify the mind, divination and channeling spirits are fascinating.
