Fun

Loved it made work outing easier, and I was able to listen while my kids was watching spongebob. I've always been a Hugh fan of Danielle steel

My opinion

The story began slow. I was ready to return it, but I kept listening and found myself loving the story a lot.

Lovely romance

Enjoyed this Danielle Steel novel. The performance was well done. The mother /daughter relationship was the center of this story and enjoyable to listen to. Nice, light easy to listen to.

Captures South Well

I can not believe how well the story really captures South Carolina. I moved to SC in 1992 from CA. I had lived in KY and thought in would be similar,but I was so wrong. Great story, really tells the truth about the deep South

Meh…it was ok

Should have used a female narrator. They clearly got “Bless your heart” (BYH) wrong. It can be used as an insult but it isn’t necessarily or even usually an insult. It’s the thing one says when they don’t know what to say. Stubbed your toe “BYH.” Someone made a faux pas “BYH.” Going through a terrible illness or injury…BYH. It was cringe the overuse of BYH. So, BYH…I don’t know how you made a successful career out of writing.

Great story

I really enjoyed the story. It was easy listening and kept me interested. I love all of DS books!!

Interesting details, helps me to picture the story in my mind

I just really loved the storyline. I’m a single mom and had been in a similar breakup. I can relate to this story more, I feel.

Bless Your Heart

This book was great! I cried, I laughed and had to nod several times because Danielle was so right about polite southerners. Bless their/our hearts.

loved it. the story was exciting and suspenseful. the ending was good but could of used one more chapter. the wedding.

Thoughts

I kept feeling as if something really dramatic or a twist was going to occur but it never happened. It was a low key, mellow drama.
