Ok story brought to life by dynamic narration
While the story was consistently generic, I found the narrator's performance full of life and realistic. The characters may have lacked significant development, or interesting qualities of any kind, but the energetic narration made them at least an entertaining listen. I mean Soul's Desire, oh please girl. Why don't you name your next one Nubian's Essence?

Disappointed
I think I have listened to this authors work in the past. The story was what I expected for a contemporary romance. But the next time I think I will read this novel. The reason being the narrator. She read the novel well but her vocal characterizations did not deliver sincerity, love, excitement, disappointment. I was unable to buy into the characters. If that can be done with an audio book you have a successful product.

Not a fan of the narrator!
Okay so, let me start by saying I am partial to Wesleigh and Mari. This narrator sounds airy and not a part of the experience.
Now having said that, I love this story series. Great story line!

Narration!!??
The story was OK however, the narrator was pretty bad. It was painful trying to listen to this book. She sound like a robot and her different characters were horrible.
