The fun continues

I was lucky enough to have gotten a free audio book code from Scare street. Wow things are getting intense. On to the next book.

By this time - its easy to eagerly await the next

Ron Ripley and Thom Bowers are a great team. I liked this book - but there were some tough issues addressed too. It makes you hate Worthe even more... But Ron handles these really tough issues with kid gloves and doesn't linger - making it possible for me to finish the book and continue on with the series. Love his writing and his depth of characters.

Great listen

Really great story from Scare Street. Great scares and enjoyable to listen to. Excellent narration as well.

The story of the Haunted Village continues, and a new ghost has moved in. This time, Marcus and his group must weigh the odds of their survival against the newest member brought in, and determine whether they can save her or not.

Great read, and I love that these shorts allow me to get through a book in one sitting. I cannot wait to dive into the next book!

The crazy only go more insane!

If you thought Able couldn’t get any crazier, think again! Things don’t go as planned when further attempts at sabotage occur. An old player returns. I can’t wait to read the next book!

Awesome

This series just gets better and better. I'm loving how tough Marcus is and seeing the bonds grow between not only him and Alex but Joyce as well. Professor worthe is seriously getting on my last nerve but oh well this will definitely keep you up with all the twists and turns.

Brilliant.

I don't know why I'm always surprised after reading a book by this author because I know how much of an amazing writer he is, and I know how he always throws curve balls and how each book seems to be better than the last....yet here I find myself surprised again!!! This book was a non stop roller coaster and I felt like I was holding my breath the whole way through.

Worthe has aquisitioned another property. This time a greenhouse with a particularly nasty young ghost in it. The ghost likes to kill mothers so naturally Worthe kidnaps a mother for him. Meanwhile Marcus is dealing with the fact that there are other ghosts, than the ones in the houses, who want him and his friends dead. They will even kill the boy!

I feel like the plot is really ramping up!! There are more ghosts, the fighting is starting to get more brutal and is taking it's toll on Marcus, things are happening outside the fence of the village and Worthe is getting rattled. As I said already, it was non stop! The plot is well written, we'll thought out and has so much suspense that I feel all the books need to be binge read because it's impossible to put them down.

This series...and many others by this author...should be made into movies. They are that good!!! I'm invested in these characters and their struggles and can't recommend the books enough!! Absolutely brilliant.

I love Thom Bowers narration. He has so much talent and it really shows. A sign of a great narrator is one who makes you forget everything other than the story you're listening to. It's one who brings a story effortlessly to life and that's what he does.

Great Creepy Series

I absolutely love this series especially the characters and ghosts. My favorite characters are Marcus, Alex, Timmy, Joyce, Philip and Elaine. Hate Abel Worthe, Kimberley and David with the experiments they do in the village. It leaves you impatiently waiting for next book. In this one the Indians were on a warpath. Highly recommend this series but need to start with the 1st 3 books to get the full effect of the characters. I did previously read the series but love listening to them. Cannot wait until Poisonous Whispers comes on audible!

Trouble in the Village.

As winter sets in, professor Worthe's experiment starts to fall apart. Can Marcus save the newest victim? Can professor Worthe continue his control in the village?
This book was as good as the last (something that I find is rare in most series) and I'm excited to see where it goes next.
