Still Great

This book is doing good because normally at this point the writer would have run out of anything new and interesting. But he’s still going.

Another installment of a great story.

Another installment of a great story. Love the characters and situations. Love military sci-fi. Loving the series.

My new favorite series!

I just finished books 2 & 3 of Sentenced to War and I truly think it’s the best military sci fi (tied with ruins books). The books bring up so many memories and emotions from my time in service. I love all the characters and just want more. I think it’s the second best JN Chaney series (Renegade Star is #1) and could potentially be the best. The STW universe has so much unexplored potential.I’m still a little confused around the various government and military structures and would like to get more insight into that. You hear names like union, council, hegenomy, freesians, and more. It’s a little difficult to tell how it all fits together and who is apart of what. Regardless, thank you J.N. Chaney and Jonathan Brazee for such an amazing and emotional book.

Lastly, Jeffery Kafer is an amazing narrator! I was hesitant at first since; never listening to him before, but he did it justice.

Don’t do reviews but…..

Best Book in the series

This was my favorite book in the series, it has the best scenes and you can see how the author has incorporated all of the feedback.

PROS:
*The plot was less predictable
*The main character is more relatable
* Good Dialogues
* Decent ending to this triology


CONS:
*The characters are still one-dimensional and with limited depth
* This series is a perfect argument in favor of plot structure
* Too much inner thoughts and general data that slows down the story
* Little conflict to move the story forward (yes I know the irony in a military sci-fi book) and this is more about the series as a whole, this book is an exception.

The narration is flawless
