After the Lensman series became popular, Smith took his Triplanetary story and turned it into the first of the Lensman series, using it as a prequel to give the back story for the protaganists in the Lensmen series. He added six new chapters, doubling it in size and it's really a different book from the serialized novel, being published 14 years after the first. It was put into Gutenberg just last year.

Two Birds as the Case May Be
You have to at least like that. Even if you do not love it such as I do. This is the only way I can get the things done I really need to do and still have time to read a book. Yes it is quicker for me to read a book and then do my work but this lets me do both at the same time so no loss to me.

I do love this and how else can you drive and read a book. I could call my spouse and have her read it to me over the cell phone but I live in the mountains of N CAL so not so good service. I would have to park for the good parts. Always did have to park for the best parts anyway.

Yes, the first two offerings of the Dorsai series, all excellent. Rudnicki does the Dorsai series justice.

Fantastic
As I remembered his books are timeless. I read all dicksons books when they first came out and am rereading them to my complete satisfaction. I adore books that provide some intelligent thought...his books and isaamovs foundation books provide a lifetime of thought
