Another engaging read from Ruby Knoxx

The narrator has a pleasing gravely voice, which really fits the male protagonist character really well. I think a female to do female protagonist character’s (Selene) voice would enhance the listening experience. But overall it was a good story and a good voice performance. I always enjoy this author’s works whether I read or listen to her books.

The gravely rock sound, isn't for me

Mr. S.L.Vernon voice is so old and gravely I could swear he smoke 24 hours a day. How are we to get into the story that's saying one thing but sounds like another. He doesn't sound like a viral muscular young strong shifter. Creepy more like a homosexual couple. That being said he can read and though slow he pronounce the words with accuracy. I won't be paying for any more books narrated solely by him.
