Charlotte finds love

This story is all about Charlotte and what if after she has accepted Mr Collins proposal changes her mind. This sets her and her younger brother on a new course for their lives. Lots of page time together for Charlotte and her eventual love. Majority of the story takes place away from Meryton so there’s very little interaction with other main characters from P&P but you get to hear tidbits along the way. The narrator did an excellent job on these voices for these characters. It will be a book I will listen to again.

This is a fresh take on Charlotte Collins. if you have ever wanted to root in Charlotte's corner, this story is for you. The adventure is keen, character development is strong, and Ruth Redman's reading is perfectly done. This has become an old favorite I listen to whenever I need a pick me up. It never fails to make me smile and even laugh out loud. Thank you, Laura Hile for sharing your amazing writing gift with us all!

A Wonderful Romance for Charlotte

A well developed story with little angst or drama after Charlotte’s rescue, but with great dialogue and characters who seem real. I very much enjoyed this romance of Miss Charlotte Lucas, a character I always wished might have had a better husband. And here she finds her perfect match. The last 20 minutes include a scene between Charlotte and Jack with him criticizing her favorite gothic novel - it is a hoot. And the final, final scenes are very sweet. I very much appreciated Ruth Redman’s narration.
