so many suspects

So many suspects but the sheriff has narrowed it down to one. What will Mae do? Will she be in time? Will the Laundry Ladies figure it out in time?

stupid premise for basic winter event

I love this series, but this one got off to a bad start. the idea that a small town could install ski lifts and snow making equipment for a one week event is too crazy even for fiction. I also felt like Dottie's voice (vocabulary) was different than other books in the series and the pacing was off making me wonder if there was a ghost writer for this book.

it just had a different feel to the story and some missing characters. the mystery itself was fine.
