Hard to listen to complaints about her privilege
It took me longer than normal to get into this book. I have been extremely fortunate in my life, but this book is a whole new level of privilege. It was painful to listen to complaints of her mom redoing her room with expensive finishes, buying her a fitness membership, and bringing home healthy juices for the family. As a recent grad, I felt myself constantly yelling at the main character. The book was entertaining enough, but I found it extremely frustrating and not the slightest bit inspiring to new grads. When I first started listening I was furious when I realized I had chosen to buy this as an audiobook since it's written in the form of texts, instagram posts, tweets, and journal entries, but the narrator did a good job of making it all understandable. I probably would not recommend this book to anyone, but it was somewhat enjoyable.

My favorite book this year
This captivating story had me hooked from the beginning. The author’s voice has so much charm and the words create nonstop excitement! I refused to put the book down. Move over Sophie Kinsella, Autumn Chiklis is in the house. And I, for one, want to live in the house with the entire fun, bold, fearless family. I guarantee you will love this whimsical book. I hope Ms Chicklis is writing the sequel right now!
