Laurie Gelman has done it again! The wonderful crazy world of Jen Dixon is in full swing in Smells Like Tween Spirit. It’s so funny. I laugh out loud often! Keep writing please!

I just ❤️ This series ! Humor without being silly, emotional without being maudlin, and great narration by the author herself. All 4 books are so much fun !

I think this is it for this series

I've read this entire series and I think (hope) this is the last one. Her writing is amusing and it's an easy listen, but at this point, it's been done. I don't think I would look forward to another in this series

The characters and the stories are very relatable. I wish I was as witty as Jen! I hope Laurie writes more. I found myself laughing out loud multiple times throught her books!

My Spirit Animal

None of us will try to defend Laurie Gelman as the next Plato. She writes like the rest of us live. I am 55 and I absolutely love that she can speak in a voice that I understand. I am sad the I blew through this audiobook so quickly, but that is a testament to you. I love Jen(n), Vivs, Raj, Laura, Kay(Mom) and Maude. I need to know what happens to Max as he heads into high school/ Please keep writing. We need you <3

This book was like the others in the series, full of the moments that made me laugh as a parent AND as a reader. I appreciate the poignant storylines as much as the ones with humor, and felt heard more than once while reading. Hoping to read more of Jen’s escapades in the years to come!
