Storytelling at Ms Winter's level is hard to find. Having listened to over 1,800 audio books, I hope you find this recommendation useful and not just the "gushing on" of a fan. Pairing her works with the impeccable Ms Dawe? I'm left trying to find a way to add more stars.

I had previously bought all of Ms Winter's works that are noted at the end of each short story and had to have this one. All are equally recommended and will enhance your enjoyment of this title if read first. Any one of them can make you a fan is you are not already.

So much fun

Loved getting back into the lives of some of my favorite characters. The second to last story was definitely my favorite. Makes me want to listen to all of Lee’s books again <3

Satisfying Sequels!

I love this author she has such complex, intriguing, and fascinating characters. The narrator never disappoints.

I recommend reading all the books 1st, and then saving this till after because it follows up on all the characters you grow to love.

Lee is a very good writer. Her character arcs are always believable. Her descriptions are unique. She has a dry wit which I completely enjoy. The spice is never gratuitous and exquisitely written. I can’t say enough good things about her.

Excellent Stories, Fantastic Performance

A marvelous collection of stories! Lee Winter teases out more depth of her characters. A moment in time; a decision to be made. What are the factors, what are the obstacles, and how will our sheroes move forward? Such a treasure of enriching insights!

And Angela Dawe is, as always, wonderful with her character depictions, those inflections or hesitations which reveal brashness or vulnerability.

This was nice

A look into the complex characters their motivations and insecurities and the women they love. It is great world building and to catch up with the characters that are beloved. Angela Dawe does a superior job of bringing each story and character to life.

Fantastic Adventures and Twists You Won’t See Coming

This audiobook is fantastic, from plot to prose to narration! I can’t wait for Book 2.

Lee Winter is always a must read/listen. Add my audible lord and savior Angela Dawe???? heaven.

I’ve only read Breaking Character, Hotel Queens, and Requiem for Immortals so I loved the peek into other stories. Such a variety even though they all fall under the ice queen category.

Mini reunion

I loved these mini stories, it's like visiting with old friends. Of course there were some very hot scenes. As usual Angela Dawe is FABULOUS!!! ♥️

Outstanding

It's beyond incredible how many different voices this narrator can pull off. I'm perfectly blown away by this narration.
