LOVE THIS SERIES~

I can’t say enough about how much I adore this series! It’s fun, it’s spunky (sometimes in more ways than one!), and it has a long-running mystery still in play, so I absolutely can’t wait for more books. The characters are entertaining and memorable, and I love seeing Dirk and Connally finally get their story after being side characters for the past few books. Add in Lou (the triplets’ aunt) arriving in town, and this throuple instantly became one of my favorites! This is definitely a series you’ll want to read or listen to in order. It will not disappoint. Each couple’s story is sweet, romantic, spicy, and just an all-around great time. I really hope Mack keeps this series going and going. The narrators are absolutely fabulous and bring every bit of fun and heat to life!

Favorite of the series so far!

Wonderful storytelling, and love the entire Haven Ever After series! Perfect blend of plot and the spice is *chefs kiss*. If you like paranormal romances that are quirky, fun, sweet with a bit of conflict, you’ll love this book!

Fun and cute

*Potential spoilers ahead* Overall, this was a super fun and cutie read and I couldn’t put it down! Dirk is a dreamboat, Lou is quippy and amazing, and I truly love that Connell is a gentle/understanding therapist but also has a lil dom daddy side. The spice was a 3.5/5 for me, and I loved Dirk’s filthy little mouth. I will say with books similar to this I always feel like a few things fall flat for me, mostly bc the authors seem to be trying to incorporate too many different things that just get carelessly abandoned by the end of the book. I found the revenant situation and awakening of Lou’s powers to be lacking and not fleshed out enough. Why was Latent attacking vulnerable monsters? What was the whole point of Lou finding out she has a rare gift and we don’t experience her harnessing it in a cool or badass way in the future? And I wanted to see Dirk’s new path post incarceration!! Also, it would’ve been a good idea to explain more why the gnomes trusted Lou- I was fully waiting for her to have gnome blood or an ancestor that was a vowed protector of a village once or something but that was just like 🤷🏻‍♀️ Also, this is the first MM/F book where there was zero DP lol like ok? And it was mentioned after using a large amount of power Lou would go into a false omega-like heat… we didn’t get that scene? And Connell seemed hyped about building a nest- again, no nest scene. Give the people what they want, dang 😂

Hands down this was my absolute favorite book in the series! The ending was amazing but, I was definitely sad when the book was over.
